Inspiring NYC

black panoramic silk scarf #1 and the Blue Dragonfly scarf by Tal Angel

I know I've written a post on NY here just a while ago, but that one week visit was so full of excitement and inspiration that I must share some more moments from that visit and bring my experience and sources of inspiration to share with others on this blog....

The Blue Line Fish Silk Scarf

Gregory Murphy is an old friend of mine from 25 years ago when we first met in Paris. He is a designer and an extremely talented and creative person, lives in NY and is absolutely madly in love with this city. Walking the streets of Manhattan with him is like going through an amusement park.... He knows every corner, building and story connected to the place and will always show you the unusual and hidden layers of the streets, those you will never discover or dream they existed if you just walked those streets alone...

When Gregory first saw my scarves he wrote to me "adore My Love….think of making a men's line…these are gender neutral!"
Well, I took his advice, Eldad Rafaeli encouraged me and envisioned this campaign...and two months later we were in NY, in the cold December weather, taking a walk all three of us....having the best time while Gregory was posing with his fabulous striking look and my scarves on the banks of the east-river...
good advice is sometimes priceless !!

The Blue Mosquito Silk Scarf

Seeing my new scarves on Gregory, with his amazing look, the unbelievable views of the city, with that special last light of a cold afternoon...it was more than I could even imagine....and thanks to Eldad's talent and vision and amazing photos we were able to create that true look of preciousness, luxury and refined style which matched my vision for the scarves...
